Daniel Beretta

Daniel Beretta (born 24 December 1946 in Audi Court ) is a French composer, singer, actor and voice actor.

Life

Beretta began in early childhood, to make musical experiences. He was especially interested in music theory and piano. In Montbéliard he took acting lessons; 1964 to 1966 he studied at the Petit Conservatoire de la Chanson. With Richard de Bordeaux, whom he met there, he formed a duo and gave numerous concerts on stages and occasionally on television shows. In 1966 he wrote the play Copain clopants, in which he also a year long played the lead role. Two years later he was engaged by Marcel Camus for his film Un été sauvage.

Several appearances in other films, but primarily in musicals were the focus of Berettas work in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Then he devoted himself more to the music. As a performer, he took him for pieces composed by Paul McCartney (including Ennio Morricone with ). As an author he wrote for Nino Ferrer, Jean -Noel Dupré, Mireille Mathieu and several other artists. He also composed extensively for the stage. In 1988, he finally received the Palme d'Or for best film music at the Festival d' Antibes.

In Germany and Belgium Beretta gave guest performances as an actor; as a voice actor he was since 1987 the French voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger and synchronized numerous other films. He said the program prompts for the sci-fi channel in France, synchronized to video games from 2000 to 2008, the voice of the radio RFM.
