Daniel McConnell (cyclist)

Daniel McConnell ( born August 9, 1985 in Bruthen ) is an Australian mountain bike and road bicycle racer.

Daniel McConnell began his career in 2006 at the Australian Continental team Southaustralia.com - AIS. In his first year there, he was runner-up in the Australian Cross Country U23 class. On the road, he won a stage at the Tour of Gippsland, where he was third in the overall standings. He also took third place in the overall standings of the Tour de Hokkaido. In the 2008 season he finished third at the national cross country championship and also launched at the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, where he finished 39th. 2009 McConnell Oceania champions in Cross Country.
