Daniel Opare

Daniel Tawiah Opare ( born October 18, 1990 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player. He usually plays in the position of right-back. He is considered a huge talent and is therefore also called the African Cafu.

Career

Opare started his footballer career in Ajax Football Academy in Kumasi, one associated with Ajax Amsterdam football school. At age 13, he moved to Ashanti Gold SC, where he was taken in the first squad in 2007 and in the Ghana Premier League debut. In January 2008, his move to Real Madrid was announced, although Opare was initially provided as a player for the second team Real Madrid Castilla.

July 2010 it was announced that Opare changes to Standard Liege.

National

Daniel Opare reached at the U -17 World Cup 2007 Ghana with the fourth overall place. For a friendly match against Togo on November 18, 2007 Opare was first appointed to the cadre of the senior team, but did not ultimately used. In October 2009, he won the Junior World Cup with Ghana.
