Daniel Yergin

Daniel Yergin ( born February 6, 1947) is an American author and economist.

Training

The historian and economist taught politics and economics at Cambridge University and was editor of the Yale Daily News. He is regarded as an authority in the field of international politics and economics.

Journalistic activity

Published in 1991 Yergin " The price - The hunt for oil, money and power " (Eng. Frankfurt in 1991, original title " Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money & Power " ), an internationally recognized standard work on the history of oil, and received for the 1992 Pulitzer Prize for the best non-fiction book. Yergin has also participated in various U.S. government hearings on oil and energy issues.
