Danielle Carruthers

Danielle Carruthers ( born December 22, 1979 in Paducah, Kentucky) is an American hurdler whose special route is the 100-meter distance.

As a student at Indiana University in Bloomington, she was three NCAA runner-up: 2001 outdoors over 100m hurdles and 2002 and 2003 in the hall about 60 m hurdles.

2005 and 2006 it was U.S. champion in the indoor 60 m hurdles. At the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Moscow in 2006, she finished fourth on 60 m hurdles.

In 2011 she qualified as U.S. Vice- Champion for the World Athletics Championships in Daegu, where she won the silver medal.

Danielle Carruthers is coached by Rana Reider and starts for Nike.
