Danish Order of Freemasons

The Danish Order of Freemasons (Danish: Den Danske Frimurerorden ( DDFO ) ) is the umbrella organization of the regular Masonic lodges in Denmark. The Danish Masonic Order derives from Denmark's first Masonic Lodge of St. Martin, which was founded in 1743 in Copenhagen. The Masonic order is therefore considered the oldest Grand Lodge of Denmark. The Masonic order is also known by the name of the Grand Lodge of Denmark.

The Masonic Order is recognized by the world's oldest Grand Lodge, the United Grand Lodge of England, founded in London in 1717.

The Masonic order is working according to the rules of the Swedish system.

Members

The Danish Masonic Order has about 10,000 members. He owned, among others, the following royal members:.
