Danny Fortson

Daniel Anthony Fortson ( born March 27, 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ) is a former American professional basketball player in the NBA. The 2.01 m wide power forward was drafted tenth in 1997 by the Milwaukee Bucks and subsequently traded immediately to the Denver Nuggets. He reached already in his rookie season with 10.2 points and 5.6 rebounds good values. Fortson, who has grown quite small for his position, compensates for this disadvantage by its superior physique again. From his physical game emphasizes both result in numerous rebounds also several fouls. In the 2000 /01 season, Fortson was with an average of 16.3 rebounds per game, best rebounder in the league. After several seasons in different teams in the NBA, he was active in ranks of the Seattle SuperSonics. This was followed by no further involvement in the NBA.
