Danny Ings

Daniel William John Ings (born 23 July 1992 Winchester ) is an English footballer. He is since 2011 the second division club FC Burnley under contract.

AFC Bournemouth

Originally from the own youth academy Danny Ings was 28 December 2010 his league debut for the English third division side AFC Bournemouth. His first league goal he scored on 1 February 2011 in a 3-2 home win over Swindon Town. In the second round of the Football League One 2010/11 Ings scored seven goals and thus contributed a significant part to the surprising play-off collection of the riser. In the semifinals, the team failed on penalties on third-placed Huddersfield Town. Ings had achieved this in the return game in overtime the interim 3-2 lead for his team.

Burnley FC

On 15 August 2011, the 19 - year-old striker moved to second division side Burnley FC and signed a four-year contract. With his new club, he met coach Eddie Howe, who had left the AFC Bournemouth 16 January 2011 to take over Burnley. Just a few days after his transfer Ings suffered a serious knee injury and played through injury until 14 February 2012 his first league appearance for Burnley. In total, he scored in the Football League Championship 2011/12 three goals in fifteen league matches. At the start of the new season Danny Ings injured again hard on the knee (this time at the other ) and saw so again a month-long failure counter. This time, however, the healing process faster and designed Ings denied after a good two months of his first league match. By the end of the 2012/13 season he scored three goals as last year. In the first round of the Football League Championship 2013/14 Ings increased its accuracy significantly and already scored thirteen league goals.

England national team

On October 3, 2013 was first appointed to the Executive of the English U- 21 team Danny Ings of coach Gareth Southgate. A week later he was in a 4-0 away win in San Marino his debut for the national team when he came on in the 65th minute for Raheem Sterling. On November 19, 2013 he scored his second international game two goals in a 9-0 home win over San Marino.
