Daphne Walker (figure skater)

Daphne Walker ( unknown *, † unknown) was a British figure skater who started in a single run.

In 1938, she played her first European and World Championships and finished it on the tenth, and seventh respectively. At the last European Championship before the Second World War in 1939, she won the bronze medal behind her countrywomen Cecilia Colledge and Megan Taylor. This she also managed at the World Championships in 1939, this time in front of Taylor and Hedy Stenuf because Colledge had to cancel due to injury. As there were no tournaments because of World War break seven years, she returned back in 1947, was British champion and defended their bronze medal in 1939 at the European Championship 1947 in Davos behind Barbara Ann Scott and Gretchen Merrill. At the first World Cup after World War break she was in Stockholm, during World runner-up behind and in front of Scott Merrill.
