Daqing Field

The oil fields of Daqing (Chinese大庆 油田, Pinyin Daqing Youtian ), formerly also called " Taching ", are the largest oil fields in the People's Republic of China. You are close to the same city between the rivers Songhua Jiang and Nen Jiang in the province of Heilongjiang.

History

The oil fields of Daqing were discovered in 1959 by Li Siguang during the Great Leap Forward. Since we started in 1960 with oil production, more than 10 billion barrels (1.6 km ³ ) of oil were promoted in the oil fields of Daqing.

Before the start of oil production were in various deposits of 16 billion barrels (2.5 km ³ ) of oil present, now there are still about 3.6 billion barrels ( 572 million m³). The current production rate is about 1 million barrels ( 160,000 m³) per day, which makes the oil fields of Daqing oil field for the fourth most delivery worldwide. When the Chinese government began with the use of Pinyin, the name of the oil field as a " Daqing " became known. The Daqing Oilfield Company Limited, Daqing is responsible for the exploration and development of oil field. The Daqing Oilfield Company Limited planned from 2004 year until 2010 to reduce the flow rates of 7% to extend the life of the oil field.

2003 production of the field for the first time in 27 years fell below the mark of 50 million tons to 48.4 million tons. 2012, production of Petro China was "stable over 40 million tons of oil equivalent " is specified, however, this also includes natural gas. The Changqing oil field with over 42 million tons in 2012 was so produktivstem to China's oil field.
