Darius Kampa

Darius Kampa, Polish Dariusz Kampa, ( born January 16, 1977 in Kędzierzyn -Koźle, Poland ) is a former German football player and current coach. Since 2013 he has worked as a goalkeeping coach at FC Falke Markt Schwaben in the football national league Bavaria. He has next to the German and the Polish citizenship.

Career

The goalkeeper started at OSIR Ratibor playing football before after moving his family to Germany, he continued his career at FC Augsburg 1987. Here he matured into a U-21 national team and was the regional league in the 1997/98 season to the goalkeeper. For the 1998/99 season, he joined the 1st FC Nuremberg. There he first second goalkeeper behind Andreas Hilfiker and could use that on 27 September 1998 the Bundesliga Matchday 6, replace against Eintracht Frankfurt. In winter, however, came back to Nuremberg Andreas Kopke and Kampa had to slip back into the third term.

After the descent to the end of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga Kampa moved into the second division following two years back to the reserve items before and was allowed to replace the former international goalkeeper Kopke by injuries and suspensions over the next two years, fifteen times. After geschafften rise in 2001 Kopke resigned, opening the way Kampa as goalkeeper was free. There he was first choice goalkeeper and played the first 16 games. After the winter break, he was replaced by the goalkeeper Kasey Keller of the U.S. national team and was also in the 2005 /06 only the second man behind the Americans.

For the 2006/07 season Kampa moved to the Hungarian first division Zalaegerszegi TE FC and practiced there, the role of the parent goalkeeper. The contract with ZTE was dissolved on 31 December 2006 to allow the change to Kampa Austrian first division side SK Sturm Graz.

With the beginning of the season 2007/ 08 he moved to SpVgg Unterhaching, where he signed a two -year contract. There Kampa was from the beginning goalkeeper and was able to qualify his team for the newly created 3rd league. For the SpVgg he played 109 games in the 3rd league; as the second player after Carsten zeros (FC Carl Zeiss Jena), he completed his 100th game in the young league. After the season 2010/11, the main sponsor withdrew Generali and Darius Kampa leaned did not accept the contract offer for the new season. Since he could not find a new club and a new destination Munich did not want to leave, he stayed in the subsequent period in the second team of TSV 1860 München fit and completed charity matches with the tradition of the team 1.FC Nuremberg. Kampa has the Fußballlehrer A license and at times led the goalkeepers training with the German national football team of women through. After he had been out of contract for over a year, finished his career in 2012 Kampa. Then he gave lectures on coach meetings of the Bavarian Soccer Association and was a football expert in TV shows as a guest.

Since July 30, 2013 Kampa directs volunteer once a week goalkeeper training at FC Falke Markt Schwaben in the football national league Bavaria.

Darius Kampa is married and has two children. It supports volunteer action optimists for Germany in the marketing sector.

His father Franz Kampa is a football coach and 2012 was active as goalkeeping coach in the youth of FC Augsburg.
