Darko Stanic (Serbian: Дарко Станић ) ( born October 8, 1978 in Mojkovac ) is a handball player of Serbian nationality.

The 1.97 meter tall and 92 kilogram goalkeeper is currently the Macedonian club RK Metalurg Skopje under contract. Previously, he played for RK Brskovo Mojkovac, RK Berane, RK Red Star Belgrade, RK Lovćen Cetinje, TV Watch, GC Amicitia Zurich and RK Koper.

With these clubs he played in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2009/2010), in the EHF Champions League (2004/2005, 2008/2009), the Euro -City Cup (1998/1999), in the EHF Cup (1997/1998, 2005/2006) and in the EHF Challenge Cup (2003 /2004).

From May 2006 to May 2008, a ban was imposed for a positive cocaine test against Stanic.

Darko Stanic was in the squad of the Serbian national team for the European Handball Championships in 2010 and the World Cup 2011.

At the European Championships in 2012 in his own country he was elected to the Serbian team vice European champion and as the best goalkeeper in the " All- Star Team". In the summer he took part in the Olympic Games in London. He also participates in the European Handball Championship 2014 in Denmark.
