Dave Ball (musician)

David ' Dave' J Ball ( born March 30, 1950 in Handsworth, Birmingham, England ) is a British guitarist.

He currently lives in New Zealand, but also works in other countries of the world.

In 1971 he played for Procol Harum and replaced with the band Robin Trower, who had left the formation to form their own group. Ball can be heard on the only official live album by the band Procol Harum Live in Concert with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and left the group in 1973 during the recording of the album Grand Hotel to perform with Long John Baldry.
