Dave Clark (musician)

Dave Clark ( * December 15, 1942 in Tottenham, England ) is a British musician and music manager. He was the founder and drummer of the band The Dave Clark Five, the mid-1960s had a string of hits and was also successful in the United States.

In 1960, Clark, a band, reportedly to raise money for the football club Tottenham Hotspur. This led to the Dave Clark Five, the increasingly gained popularity and in 1962 received a record deal. Clark was the drummer and at the same time manager of the group. At the royalties of the 1964-1967 highly successful band Clark earned a million fortune.
