Dave Hickson

David "Dave" Hickson (* October 30, 1929 in Salford, † July 8, 2013 ) was an English footballer.

Career

In 1948 Hickson to his heart's club Everton. After only half a year at the " Toffees " he had to serve his military service and stayed fit in the military team. In 1951 he made ​​his debut for Everton. The strengths of center forward had his shot power, aerial ability and his athletic body. In 1955 he moved to Birmingham to Aston Villa for £ 17,500. After only twelve missions he went for two years to Huddersfield Town, from where he returned to Everton in 1957.
