David Bailey (actor)

David Bailey ( born October 27, 1933, Newark, New Jersey, † November 25, 2004 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Bailey joined with 16 years in the U.S. Air Force and remained there for eight years before he earned with different jobs for a living. In the early 1960s he began his work as an actor and quickly got roles on television, and later in the film; there played his first role in a spaghetti western. However, Bailey quickly returned to the U.S. and worked vornahmlich for television series, mostly in guest roles. In addition, he was also seen in commercials. In Los Angeles, he founded the Black Book Theatre Company, for which he wrote alongside productions and pieces.

From 1981 to 1999 he played Dr. Russ Matthews on the long-lived series Another World. In another soap opera Passions, he had just joined and was well received when he drowned in an accident in 2004 in his swimming pool.
