David Carreira

David Carreira ( born July 30, 1991, Dourdan, France; actually David Antunes ) is a Portuguese actor and pop singer.

Career

David Carreira (actually David Araújo Antunes ) was the son of pop singer Tony Carreira in France to the world, five years after his brother Mickael Carreira (who later was to be a pop singer as well). In 2001, the whole family returned to their home country Portugal. As a teenager, he played football in the youth teams of Sporting Lisbon. A serious knee injury prevented further career.

Later, he was invited as a model to the most important fashion shows in Portugal, including Moda Lisboa and Portugal Fashion. He also took on a management study. In 2010 he was the main actor in the youth series Morangos com Açúcar. He also worked as an actor occasionally thereafter, but remained primarily a singer.

End of 2011, his debut album was released under the title N.1. It was produced by French producer Tefa and Blasta and reached # 1 on the Portuguese charts.

On his 2013 released second album A Força Está em Nós he sang Duets with Snoop Dogg, Boss AC, Anselmo Ralph and Diana Chaves. He thus reached the second place of the Portuguese charts.
