David Etxebarria

David Etxebarria Alkorta (born 23 July 1973 in Abandiño ) is a retired Spanish road bicycle racer.

Etxebarria 1994 pro at ONCE, where he drove for seven years. He then moved to Euskaltel -Euskadi before 2005 he moved to Liberty Seguros and 2006 ended his career. In 1996 he won the Tour de l' Avenir, the only drivers allowed to participate who are younger than 25 years. At the Tour de Suisse in 1997, he won on the sixth stage. Two years later Etxebarria celebrated his greatest successes. He won two stages at the Tour de France in 1999 and finished it in twelfth.

David Etxebarria is not related to his namesake Unai Etxebarria from Venezuela.
