David Hearn (canoeist)

David Carter Hearn ( born April 17, 1959 in Bethesda, Maryland ) is a former American professional whitewater kayaker.

His first international success came Hearn at the Canoe Slalom World Championships 1979 in Jonquière, where he won the silver medal in the one - Canadians. He repeated this success in the canoe slalom world championships in 1981 in Bala and at the Canoe Slalom World Championships in 1983 in Merano. Two years later he won the gold medal at the World Championships in 1985 in Augsburg. 1987 in Bourg -Saint -Maurice and 1989 in Savage River, he again won silver.
