David Larible

David Larible ( born June 23, 1957 in Verona ) is an Italian clown.

Life

Family

The Larible family is originally from France. David Larible looks back on six generations of artists. There are family ties with many other European circus families. His great-grandfather Pierre Larible was an acrobat and dancer, grandfather clown. Laribles father is former trapeze artist and juggler Eugenio Larible who still teaches at the circus school of Verona. The mother Lucina Casartelli (1931-2003) was a child and circus artiste as her husband.

David Larible has three sisters: Eliana Paul, married to Bernhard Paul, Cinzia Larible - Gerard and the trapeze artist Vivien, married to Noè España of the Ikarier troupe Flying Españas.

Larible is married to the (still active at that time ) Mexican trapeze artist America Olvera Jimenez since 1982. The couple has two children - daughter Shirley (* 1989) and his son David Pierre ( * 1997). They want to be artists. Shirley occurs at Roncalli.

Childhood and youth

Larible grew up in Verona and in various circuses. His father Eugenio joined as a juggler and together with his uncle Renzo on the trapeze. In addition to his native Italian met David Larible fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese, English and German.

Career

Together with the Ringling owner Kenneth Feld developed Larible Barnum 's Kaleidoscape, a new concept for the U.S. Circus.

Larible made ​​a brief appearance in Seinfeld ( episode The Gymnast ) in 1994, as well as in the film Ocean's Eleven from 2001.
