Dawid Jackiewicz

Dawid Jackiewicz Bohdan ( born March 18, 1973 in Wrocław) is a Polish municipal officials, politicians, since 2005 Member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Legislature and former Staatssekretör in the Ministry of the State Treasury.

In 2001 he finished his studies in political science at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wrocław.

In the years 2000 and 2001 he worked in the capacity as director of marketing of the company " adavis " Sp z oo as well as head of Wrocław Members' offices by Jan Olszewski. In the local elections of 2002 he was deputy director of the campaign staff of Rafał Dutkiewicz, who was a candidate for the office of Mayor of Wrocław. In this election he won a seat as city council. He was a member of the Group of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS) and chairman of the Commission for Public Relations and cooperation with foreign countries. In 2003 he resigned as Councillor and was Deputy Mayor for architecture and construction, space planning, environmental protection, agriculture and conservation.

The Sejmwahlen 2005, he was on the list of PiS MP for the constituency of Wrocław. In the Sejm of the Fifth legislature, he was Deputy Chairman and then Chairman of the Commission for Local Self- Government and Regional Policy. From 13 September to 21 November 2007 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of the State Treasury.

In the 2007 parliamentary elections he won for the PiS with 14,653 votes for the second time elected to the Sejm. He is Deputy Chairman of the Commission for the State Treasurer and member of the Commission for Local Self-Government.

In the PiS he is a member of the executive committee and chairman of the Regional Council of Wrocław.
