Dean Beuker

Dean Beuker ( born January 5, 1981 in Watson, Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who played for the Schwenningen Wild Wings from the 2nd Bundesliga.

Career

Beuker began his career in 1997 in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League with the Tri -City Americans. There he first completed only a game and joined the 1998/99 season the league rivals Portland Winter Hawks at. At the Winter Hawks to the right shooter developed into one of the best scorers of his team. In 228 missions he could score 133 times. In the season 2000/ 01 he reached Portland the final championship of the WHL, which was lost, however.

After a brief stint at the Regina Pats at the end of the season 2001 /02, he decided in the summer of 2002 to study at the University of Saskatchewan. There he was active for the Hockey Team, with the playing of the offensive players in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport Canadian College Football at the University Cup. Beuker finished his studies for a fixed period of study of four years in 2006 and forced a move to Europe.

There, the leaders of the mosquitoes were eating on the then 25 -year-old attentive and transferred him to the 2nd Bundesliga. Beuker reached with the mosquitoes immediately became the play-off quarter-finals, where his club but with 0:4 games against eventual champions for beginners and intermediates, the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg lost. On 9 February 2007, the striker also participated held on an annual ESBG All Star Game in Ravensburg. There he went to the United team on the ice, scoring a goal. After the mosquitoes eating in the summer of 2008 filed for bankruptcy and therefore no longer allowed to compete in the 2nd Bundesliga, Beuker left the club and signed for season 2008/ 09 a contract with the Schwenningen Wild Wings. The SERC he left end of the season again.
