Debes (crater)

Debes is a lunar impact crater on the northeast front north of Mare Crisium, northwest of the crater Tralles and southwest of Burckhardt. The rim is eroded, the southern part is overlaid by the secondary craters Debes A.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the German cartographer Ernst Debes.
