Burckhardt (crater)

Burckhardt is an impact crater on the moon northeastern front, north of Mare Crisium, between the craters Geminus in the north and in the south Cleomedes. The rim is moderately eroded. The interior has a central mountain.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the German astronomer Johann Karl Burckhardt.
