Delaware Route 300

Delaware State Route 300 is a 19.04 km long state highway in Kent County, Delaware. The road is the extension of the Maryland State Route 300 from the border with Maryland near Everett's Corner. It runs in a northeasterly direction to Smyrna, where it ends at U.S. Highway 13. It is the only state highway in the state of Delaware with a 300 number.

Route description

From the border with Maryland, the Delaware State Route 300 leads east to the Sudlersville Road. Virtually at the State Border is located in Everett's Corner, the intersection with the western terminus of the Delaware State Route 44, the route leads through farmland to the east and touches the northern terminus of the Delaware State Route 11 before it reaches the city of Kenton, where they Main Street forms. In this city there is the junction with the Delaware State Route 42 After the road Kenton has left behind, it leads to the Wheatley's Pond Road to the northeast. Halfway between Kenton and Clayton the road for a short section overlaps with the Delaware State Route 15, Route 300 leads north to Clayton, however, the city happens south of the center. Between Clayton and Smyrna Delaware State Route 6 opens, and both highways run together on the Glenwood Avenue in a northeasterly direction through Smyrna. It ends at the intersection with U.S. Highway 13, where the State Route 6 turn right and in conjunction with the Highway continues.
