Delo is the language of African Delo with only about 10,900 (2003) speakers in Ghana east to the border with Togo.

The focus of Delo is Brewaniase, 32 km south of Nkwanta. It is also in Togo by approximately 5,400 speakers (1993 ) spoken on the border with Ghana. Alternative names are Ntrubo, Ntribu and Ntribou. Delo has been re- classified by the Kwa- the Gur language family.
