Demetria Washington

Demetria Washington (born 31 December 1979) is an American track and field athlete whose specialist discipline is the 400 -meter run.

Sporting successes

Washington participated in the World Athletics Championships in 2001 and 2003, but missed in the 400 -meter individual competition each in the final.

Your biggest success Washington at the World Championships in Paris in the 4 x 400 - meter relay: Together with Me'Lisa Barber, Jearl Miles -Clark and Sanya Richards won it in 3:22,63 min the gold medal ahead of the teams from Russia ( 3:22,91 min) and Jamaica ( 3:22,92 min).
