Demon Days is published on 20 May 2005 second studio album and a concept album of the represented by fictional cartoon characters music project Gorillaz. The album was produced together with De La Soul, Neneh Cherry, Martina Topley -Bird, Roots Manuva, MF DOOM, Ike Turner, Bootie Brown of The Pharcyde, Shaun Ryder and Dennis Hopper, as well as with the London Community Gospel Choir and the Children's Choir of San Fernandez.

Success

The album debuted at # 1 in the UK charts at # 2 in the German charts and at # 6 in the U.S. charts and sold by 2006 worldwide over six million times. The singles Feel Good Inc. were, Dare, Dirty Harry and Kids with Guns / El Mañana coupled out of the album.

Criticism

The album was recorded favorably to the criticism and received average to very good ratings. The NME gave it 8 out of 10 possible points and described it as pretty clever (Eng. pretty clever ). In Allmusic it reached 4 ½ of 5 stars while it was out of 10 points at Pitchfork Media 6.9. The British music magazine Mojo placed it at number 18 of the 50 best albums of the year 2005.
