Denis Abdullin
Denis Maratowitsch Abdullin (Russian Денис Маратович Абдуллин; * January 1, 1985 in Magnitogorsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Kontinental Hockey League since October 2013.
Career
Abdullin Denis began his career as a hockey player in the junior area of the Metallurg Magnitogorsk. For the second team, the attacker played two and a half years in the third-class Perwaja League before joining during the season 2004/ 05 to Molot Perm - Prikamye, for which he made his debut in the Russian Super League. After he started the following season with the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the subprime Wysschaja League, he finished it at HK Lada Togliatti from the Super League, the European level in 2006 also won the IIHF Continental Cup. Following this success, he signed with HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk, where he had begun his career, however, came only eight appearances for the first team, so he signed with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
The season 2007/ 08 spent Abdullin with his former club HK Lada Togliatti. In his first full season in the professional field, he scored ten goals in 48 games and was preparing another nine before. For the following season, the Russian was hired by HK MVD Balaschicha from the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League. There he was only used in 22 games in which he recorded two goals and an assist, and was parallel to the second team of the club used. After being in the season of 2009/10 could win a regular place, he was loaned out after two games on the THK Tver from the Wysschaja league. In December 2009 he joined Amur Khabarovsk, for which he completed 19 games in the KHL.
The 2010/11 season he spent with his hometown club before he was hired in August 2011 by Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg. For Yekaterinburg, he completed 51 KHL games in which he collected 19 points scorer. In May 2012, he moved within the KHL Ak Bars Kazan to, for which he graduated in 2013 28 KHL games until October before moving to HC Traktor Chelyabinsk.
