Denis Khismatullin

Denis Rimowitsch Chismatullin (Russian Денис Римович Хисматуллин; born December 28, 1984 in Neftekamsk ) is a Russian chess master.

Chismatullin is the first and only Grand Master of the Russian republic of Bashkortostan. He was more than two years Sekundant by Dmitri Yakovenko. Chismatullin finished his studies at the National Technical University of crude oil in Ufa, specializing in drilling oil and gas wells.

Chismatullin conquered or occupied top positions in several tournaments: 1st place at a tournament in Serpukhov (2002), 2nd - 3rd Place at Neschmetdinow Memorial in Kazan (2006), 1st - 3rd Place at the 6th championship of Kazan (2008 ) Region and 2nd - 4th Place at the 62nd Russian Championship Higher League in Ulan- Ude ( 2009). Chismatullin won in the 5th Gubernators Cup Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk ( 2009). In the 62nd Russian Championship Super Final ( 2009) in Moscow, he was sixth. In the 63rd Russian Championship Higher League in Irkutsk ( 2010) he was on the 2nd - 10th Place after fine second rating.

Chismatullin was awarded the Grandmaster title in 2004.
