Depil

Depil [ de ː pɪl ] (Danish: Deble, literally the center ) is a very small place on Borðoy in the northwest of the Faroe Islands.

Depil is located on the east coast Borðoy between Norðdepil and Norðtoftir. The name Depil ( center ) may be explained by the geographical location in the region of the six northern islands. Here, the road of Klaksvík through to the island Viðoy. With its two inhabitants, it is one of the smallest places in the Faroe Islands. Nevertheless Depil has its own zip code.
