Depswa

Depswa is a U.S. American nu metal band from Modesto, California. Its roots lie in the mid-1990s, was officially founded Depswa 1999.

History

The debut album Two Angels and a Dream was spread by the record label Geffen Records. It was released on 3 June 2003 and was produced by Howard Benson. Depswa had numerous national tours, such as Mudvayne, Cold, Evanescence, and Trust Company and could also occur on the Ozzfest in 2003. Their album Distorted American Dream hit stores in October 2008.

The name Depswa reflects the inspiration of this band by touching and emotive music. On Swahilisch the name means something like " behind the moon ", in the language of the natives of the Amazon Depswa means as much as a medicine man or healer.
