Derek Fell

Derek Fell ( born September 28, 1939 in England ) is an English photographer and author of books on travel, art and gardens.

Life

Coat received his education in England and worked for three years as a newspaper reporter for dieShrewsbury Chronicle Group before it then seven years working for the largest seed company in England. During these years he started with photography as a hobby, which then evolved over time to living.

1964 Fell was invited to Pennsylvania, in order to work there as a photographer at the catalog of the company Burpee Seeds in Doylestown, Bucks County. After another six years, he was director of the National Seeds Research Institute of the United States. Since then, he has designed more than 60 books and calendars on gardens, which are present to some extent in German language. His archive with more than 150,000 recordings is often used in other publications.

Another activity is the design and the design of gardens, such as the Magnolia Plantation and Garden in Charleston County, South Carolina in the USA for fur. He also gives lectures in various museums in the country and is a contributing writer for architectural and gardening magazines, so for the magazine of the Royal Horticultural Society in the UK.

Fur is married. The couple has three adult children who have all artistic professions. His residence in Pennsylvania, the Cedaridge farm in Bucks County is to the public for guided tours available.
