Derna District

Darna, Arabic درنة, DMG Darna is a Munizip, which is located in the northeast of the Libyan Arab Republic in the historical region of Cyrenaica. The capital of the Munizips is the city of Darna.

Geography

In the north the Munizip Darna has a coastline on the Mediterranean Sea. In the country it borders:

• To the east by the Munizip al - Butnan
• On the west by the Munizip al - Jabal al - Akhdar
• To the south by the Munizip al - Wahat

History

Until 2007, there was the Munizip primarily from the City of Darna and their surroundings before it was combined with the Munizip al - Quba for new Munizip Darna. 2003 included the smaller Munizip 81 174 people and 4908 km ².
