Deutz-Allis

Deutz -Allis was a subsidiary of Deutz AG in North America. The company's headquarters was located in West Allis.

History

1985 took over the Deutz AG, which was experiencing financial difficulties Agriculture Division (English, about: Agriculture Division ) of the American tractor manufacturer Allis -Chalmers.

From 1986, various models were presented on the basis of Deutz- Fahr DX. These were not like the previous brand vehicles Allis-Chalmers painted in orange but in the bright green of the Deutz-Fahr tractors.

In 1989, the newly developed specifically for the U.S. market 9100 series was introduced, which was equipped with engines that were based on Deutz engines.

In May 1990 the Deutz AG sold, after five years of losses, its subsidiary through a management buy -out retrospectively 31 December 1989 again. It then emerged the Allis- Gleaner Corporation.
