Diablo Dam

The Diablo Dam ( english Diablo Dam ) is a dam on the Skagit River in the U.S. state of Washington. It was inaugurated in 1930. With its height of 119 meters, it was at that time the highest dam in the world. The name comes from the Spanish, means " devil " and to simultaneously descended from a Chinook word.

History
