Diana Quick

Diana Quick ( born November 23, 1946 in London) is a British actress.

Life

Diana Quick grew up in Dartford, Kent, the third of four children of a dentist, where she also attended the girls' school. Then she went to the Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, and finally studied at Oxford University, where she became the first woman president of the Oxford University Dramatic Society. Even at school she tried in the theater spectacle, and was occasionally hailed as one of the most beautiful young actresses in Britain. She gained fame in 1981 with her ​​role as "Lady Julia Flyte " in the hit British TV miniseries Brideshead Head.

Private

Diana Quick was married in first marriage with Kenneth Cranham. Then she had a relationship with Albert Finney for seven years. Finally she learned in 1981 at the Royal National Theatre in London, Bill Nighy, with whom she was romantically involved until recently. They have a daughter, the actress Mary Nigh (* 1984).
