Diaoyutai State Guesthouse

The State Guest House Diaoyutai (Chinese Diaoyutai Guóbīnguǎn钓鱼台 国宾馆) is a hotel complex with extensive gardens in Beijing.

It was built as one of the "Ten large building " ( "十大 建筑" ) for the tenth anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The system extends from north to south over 1 km, from west to east over 0.5 kilometers, has a total area of 420,000 square meters, of which 50,000 square meters of water (ponds ) and 165,000 construction area are.

The complex is used for storage of state guests and other visitors from abroad as well as other Chinese guests of the government in the capital. During the Cultural Revolution, lived here, inter alia, Jiang Qing. Since 2003, here the six-party talks were held.
