DICE (Band)

DICE is a German progressive rock band that was founded in 1974 in Gütersloh and 1977 moved to Frankfurt / Main. 1992 reactivated composer, singer and bandleader Christian nove the band in Leipzig. Since 1995 until today DICE publishes a new CD.

History

DICE is the original line-up since 1974 and was founded by Christian Nove (g, voc ), Andreas Schattschneider ( g), Gerd Brummel (dr ) and Norbert Schultze (effects ). 1979, the first DICE LP appeared with musicians such as Alto Pappert (ex - Kraan ) and George Koch Beck ( ex -Joachim Kühn). In 1983, "Live - DICE ", which appeared as a picture disc. Since 1997, the band puts out an album every year. According to information from the music of bands like Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, Eloy, IQ, but also Marillion or The Flower Kings is affected.

The biggest success DICE before about 3,000 fans at Munich theatron Music Summer Open Air Festival. The live recording of this concert were released on both CD and DVD.
