Dick Duckworth (footballer born 1882)

Richard " Dick" Duckworth ( born September 14, 1882 in Manchester, † unknown) was an English footballer, who acted mainly as a defensive midfielder and one of the key players when winning the first two titles in the history of English record champion Manchester United was.

Life

Born in Manchester Dick Duckworth emerged from the junior level of Manchester United 's predecessor club Newton Heath FC and managed during the 1903 /04 second division season - at the end of Red Devils had witnessed the rise because of a point less achieved left to the better -placed Gunners - the leap into the first team, although he did not come via an insert also in that season.
