Background

After the appearance of the less successful album La belle captive, the band was taken in 2006 by Sony BMG contract. The first released single was What we are released in the summer of the same year, she was successful until about six months later. In August, the CD came on the market.

Music

The music project was funded by the Austrian Art Fund. The music is probably attributable to the German rock genre, but there is a band on the label Erzählpop. Especially to hear instrumentalisch are guitar, bass and drums *.

The lyrics are very poetic and partly philosophical, as on the previous albums. They act as twelve short stories, with different themes, all of which take place in the city of Vienna. By separating the former drummer, the moderate success of the first edition and publication of the middle of the 8s - Signation was right in the middle of the band decided to release the album again with two bonus tracks.

* Heimo Korak, the drummer left the band in 2006 and was replaced by July Skone.

What we are

As a first release of the album, the single What we are has been published and presented in July 2006 to Ö3. The single was again in airplay, even if only rarely and it took almost half a year until the Ö3 Austria single in the Top 40 could place and reached the 10th position as the maximum position. Right in the middle

Right in the middle is the second decoupling of the album or a non-album track, which is only available on the new edition. The song was recorded for the daily soap " Right in the 8s ", but was commercially available under the success of " What we are ", reaching only number 46 of the Austrian charts.

This day

This day is the third decoupling of the album. A release date is not yet known, but the song is currently in the charts of gotv (# 2 ), iTunes and Ö3. After the failure of the second single, it was decided the next fast present and it is played in May 2007 on the Austrian radio stations.
