Dimitrios Valvis

Dimitrios Valvis (Greek: Δημήτριος Βάλβης ) (* 1814 in Missolonghi, † 1886 in Athens ) was a Greek politician and former Prime Minister.

Valvis was the younger brother of former Prime Minister Zinovios Valvis. He graduated in law at the University of Pisa. Later he worked as a judge. In 1872 he was appointed President of the Supreme Court ( Άρειος Παγος ). This office he held position until 1885.

From 9 to 21 May 1886 he was Prime Minister of the transitional government.
