Diocese of Strängnäs

The diocese Strängnäs (Swedish Strängnäs pin ) is one of the thirteen dioceses within the Church of Sweden. The diocese covers the counties of Orebro and Södermanland, with the exception of the north-eastern part of Södermanland, which belongs to the Diocese of Stockholm ( Lutheran ). The diocese is divided into nine church circles, composed of 90 parishes ( församlingar ).

Bishop's seat is the city with the cathedral to Strängnäs Strängnäs as bishop church. Since 2005 Hans -Erik Nordin Bishop of Strängnäs.
