Dirk Bellemakers
Dirk Belle Makers ( born January 19, 1984 in Bergeijk ) is a Dutch racing cyclist.
Career
Belle Makers began his career in 2003 with the Dutch team Van Vliet - EBH- Gazelle. For several years he was a victory denied, in 2006 he won the Meeùs Race Lierop, a small criterion in the Netherlands. In August 2007, he could go as a stagiaire for Team Landbouwkrediet - Colnago and was taken as a regular driver in the following season. 2008 was followed by a victory at City Price Geraardsbergen in Belgium. He also drove some smaller races in cyclocross, but could also not achieve any success. For the 2013 season, he joined the team Lotto Belisol. There he could with the Giro d' Italia for the first time to participate in one of the great country tours, which he was able to drive immediately to an end. He finished in 111th place overall. However, a victory in an international race was always denied him. At the end of the 2013 season Belle Makers will end his career.
