Dirk Flock

Dirk Flock (* May 23, 1972 in Cologne ) is a former German football player, who has worked at SC Wiedenbrück as an assistant coach since the summer of 2012.

Sports career

Dirk Flock comes from the junior level of the 1st FC Cologne. First stop in professional football was for flock in 1992, the second division side FC Remscheid, where the midfielder has established itself as a regular player itself. After only one year left the flock Remscheid direction Stuttgarter Kickers. Flock was able to prevail even with the Swabians, so that he was already a season later moved to the Bundesliga for 1.FC Kaiserslautern.

In the Bundesliga Flock never did manage to break through. When FCK he came only sporadically used, won with the Palatines in 1996 but the DFB Cup. He then hired again in the second division with FC Gütersloh, in which he could quite successfully set to 1998 in the scene. This resulted in a change to Werder Bremen, where Flock stood until 2001 under contract. With Werder he won the 1999 DFB-Pokal. Similar to his time in Kaiserslautern he could not play in the starting eleven also in Bremen.

The next stop of his career was in 2001 Arminia Bielefeld. Here, too, came flocking to 2003, only a few missions and it was there then used towards the end of his contract mainly in Bielefeld's second team in the Oberliga Westfalen. In the 2003 / 04 season, Flock was without a club before 2004 then, in turn, moved to the Oberliga Westfalen to his old club from Gütersloh, where he was active until 2007. In the 2007 /08 season playing for the Flock league rivals SC Wiedenbrück 2000, from where he returned to Gutersloh after one season to the NRW-Liga season 2008 /09. After descending into the Westphalia league Flock acted in the season 2009/10 as player-coach of FC Gütersloh. Until the winter break in 2011 he was worked as head coach at FC Gütersloh, before the contract was terminated. For the 2012/13 season he was an assistant coach at the Regional division SC Wiedenbrück.
