Dirk Jan ten Geuzendam

Dirk Jan ten Geuzendam (* 1957) is a Dutch journalist and author who writes about chess.

Together with Jan Timman, he is chief editor of the English-language chess magazine New In Chess. He also writes columns in Vrij Nederland and NRC Handelsblad.

He regularly interviews the international grandmaster scene and is live commentator strongly occupied tournaments, including the World Chess Championship 2012 in Moscow between Viswanathan Anand and Boris Gelfand and the Norway Super Chess 2013 Magnus Carlsen and Viswanathan Anand.
