Band History

Disarmonia Mundi was founded in early 2000 by the Italian Ettore Rigotti. After many changes in the composition, the band recorded the album in January 2001 Nebularium on in his own studio. Convinced of the album signed the Italian Record Label Self Distribuzione and the Russian label CD -Maximum a record contract with Disarmonia Mundi. After the recordings, there were some in-band problems, including the singer Benny Bianco Chinto left the band and was replaced by Claudio Ravinale.

For the next album, they signed a record deal with Scarlet Records. Even before the shooting Björn Strid was aware of the band and decided to participate as a second vocalist. Fragments of D-Generation, was recorded in their own studio, the mastering done by Goran Finnberg in Swedish Mastering Room. The finished album was released on 17 May 2004, to the piece Red Clouds a music video was filmed.

Before the recording of the third album Mind Tricks Mirco Andreis left the band to concentrate on his career as a director for video clips. The album was mixed and mastered by Alessandro Vanara in the Italian House The Metal and was released on 12 June 2006. Mirco Andreis took the video of the play Celestial Furnance.

On 26 June 2009 Nebularium was re-released along with The Restless Memoirs ( EP) in an elaborately designed Digipak version on the market. Nebularium contains the same songs with more progressive pieces that could be heard as early as 2001 on the album. On the EP The Restless Memoirs are, both older and newer pieces, from 1999 to 2006. Followed in December of the same year, the fourth album The Isolation Game at Coroner Records. In contrast to its predecessors was spared long keyboard deposits, but so moved the guitar riffs to the fore.

2012 founded Rigotti and Ravinale with the Guitaristen Elliot Sloan and keyboardist Alessio Nero Argento, the band The Stranded.
