Dittmern

Dittmern is a district of the city in the district of Soltau Heide district in Lower Saxony. The village has about 700 inhabitants. To Dittmern also includes the hamlet Friedrichseck, Hambostel, Green Lawns, Heidenhof and Höpenhof.

Location

Dittmern located northeast of Soltau on the river Große Aue in the Lüneburg Heath. By Dittmern run the county roads 2 and 9 and the A 7 A junction Heide region in close proximity to Dittmern is currently in planning.

History

On March 1, 1974 Dittmern was incorporated into the town of Soltau.
