Dmitri Obukhov

Dmitri Alexeyevich Obukhov (Russian: Дмитрий Алексеевич Обухов; born July 9, 1983 in Kazan, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since May 2012 with Ak Bars Kazan in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Dmitry Obukhov began his career as a hockey player in his youth by Ak Bars Kazan, for the second team, he was active in the third-class Perwaja league in the season 2002/ 03. Then the attacker played a year for Neftjanik Almetyevsk in the subprime Wysschaja League, before he stood for the HK Spartak Moscow and Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the Russian Super League and again for Neftjanik Almetyevsk in Wysschaja league in the 2004/05 season on the ice. In summer 2005, Obukhov returned to Ak Bars Kazan, with whom he subsequently in the season 2005/ 06 Champion of Russia was first. In the following season he reached with his team again the Cup final, in which they, however, the HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk subject. In addition Obukhov won with Kazan to a 6-0 final against HPK Hämeenlinna from the Finnish SM- liiga the IIHF European Champions Cup.

For the 2008/09 season Obukhov first returned to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk back from the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. After eight games, he joined again but Ak Bars Kazan and won with the team at the end of the season and in the season 2009/ 10 are the Gagarin Cup, the championship of the KHL. After he started the 2011/12 season in Kazan, he was transferred in October 2011 to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk again in exchange for Yevgeny Lapenkow. After two goals and two assists in 14 games he joined the end of December 2011, in turn, the Metallurg Magnitogorsk.

In May 2012, he returned to Ak Bars Kazan.
