Dmitriy Ilinikh

Dmitry Sergeyevich Ilinyh (Russian Дмитрий Сергеевич Ильиных, English transcription: Dmitriy Sergeevich Ilinykh; born January 31, 1987 in Eagle ) is a Russian volleyball player.

Career

Ilinyh was initially active in tennis, before he came to play volleyball at the age of fifteen. His first club was VK locomotive Belogorje. 2005 won the diagonal attacker with the Russian junior team, the Junior World Championship. A year later, the title was followed at the European Championships, was in the Ilinyh honored as Most Valuable Player. In 2007 the young Russian vice-champion. In the 2008 /09 season the libero played in Stary Oskol Metalloinwest, before he returned to Belgorod. 2010 Ilinyh with Lokomotiv Russian runners-up. In the same year he made his debut in the senior team. 2011 won the Russians, the World League. 2012 was Ilinyh in London Olympic champion.
